Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Plano, TX, to provide essential services for elementary students from kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract position will cover a maternity leave and is expected to last through April 2024. The role involves supporting students across two elementary schools with a combined caseload of 48 students, including two half days at an additional campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for students aged K-5.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Manage caseload effectively across multiple campuses with strong organizational skills.
  • Ensure compliance with district policies and state regulations for speech-language pathology services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Active state licensure in speech-language pathology.
  • For Clinical Fellows (CF), pre-arranged supervision is mandatory prior to starting; note that the district does not provide supervision.
  • Experience working in school settings and familiarity with elementary-age student needs.

Location and Work Environment:

  • Onsite role based in Plano, TX, covering Old Settlers Elementary (40 students) and Southridge Elementary (8 students) with two half days at an additional campus.
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
